When I look back on when I started cutting hair, it all started when I would get bowl haircuts from my mom. They would literally look like she put a bowl on top of my head and cut around it. Back then, it was either get a haircut from my mom or cut it myself. From then on, without a full understanding my barber experience began. Cutting hair continued throughout my childhood and through my 4 years at Oklahoma City University. Once I mastered the skills of cutting hair, I realized there was so much more responsibility to the work, and I had a lot more to learn. What I learned was that there is so much more you can give a customer than just a haircut.
